We’re looking forward to meet the new arrivals at Winchester for the start of the new academic year.
We will be at the Freshers Fair, so look out for our stall, and drop by to say Hi.
We will be training as soon as possible after Freshers Fair, but don’t let all the new opportunities get in your way, if you want to train but you can’t make the first few sessions, then you’re still welcome as we always take in new members all through the year.
So come along, learn some self-defence skills, test your fitness, train in a traditional Japanese Martial Art and most importantly enjoy yourself in a safe environment with a great group of new friends.
At Winchester Aiuchi Jiu Jitsu club we are part of a larger organisation and parent body – Aiuchi Jiu Jitsu where as a Japanese based Martial Art we teach techniques comprising throws, locking, compliance techniques and strikes. Whilst not solely targeted at self defence we will teach you useful techniques and aim to build confidence, along with fitness and flexibility.
New members are always welcome at any of our sessions
Winchester Aiuchi Jiu Jitsu offer high quality instruction at unbeatable value for money in a friendly and sociable club. First session is free so if you are 18+ come along and watch, or better still take part – it’s the best way to get a feel for the way we train. T-shirt and jogging bottoms are fine for the first few weeks.
We are open to all adults, and location maps for Winchester can be found here.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:30 – 9:30pm
Dance Studio, Sports Hall & Human Movement Centre, King Alfred Campus, Winchester University,
Sparkford Road, Winchester, Hampshire. SO22 4NR
Training is available most evenings at our local Hampshire and Berkshire clubs, but please note that there are other clubs across the country.
